Built from solid sapele wood milled to 5/8", this tray features a traditional floating-bottom construction. By housing the base in a precision-cut dado groove, the wood is free to expand and contract with the seasons—a mark of high-end joinery that prevents the cracking common in mass-market trays. The corners are secured with 4mm Domino joinery, providing both structural integrity and a subtle, architectural detail.
