Explore the furniture and studio pieces currently available from Quail Ridge Woodworks. Each is handcrafted in our London, Ontario workshop from solid North American hardwoods, with an emphasis on clean lines, purposeful proportions, and traditional joinery.
The collection includes one-of-a-kind furniture and functional studio pieces created in limited editions. From the sculptural waterfall profile of The Avenue console to the highly functional Principal Drafting Wall, each design is made to serve a specific purpose without sacrificing the character of the material.

55” × 23” × 5/8” — Artisan Architectural Blueprint Organizer — Black Walnut
The Principal Edition is a commanding, high-capacity installation built for expansive design portfolios and multi-page blueprint sets. Standing at an impressive 55" x 23" with 12 sequential rows of deep, 7" angled walnut dowels, this flagship edition provides an authoritative, gallery-scale statement for principal architects and design firms.
Designed for architects, builders, and designers who view their working drawings as a testament to the craft, The Drafting Wall transforms essential studio storage into an elegant architectural focal point.
Meticulously framed from solid, premium Black Walnut select-milled to a refined 5/8" thickness, the structural surround features flawless mitered corners. Each joint is reinforced internally with hidden loose-tenon Domino joinery, ensuring an heirloom-grade bond that resists twisting and remains structurally rock-solid under load—framing your active archives like a gallery installation.
Projecting outward from the frame is a stark, rhythmic column of matched 5/8" walnut dowels, precisely machined and set at a fixed 15-degree upward angle. This calculated pitch utilizes natural gravity to keep large-format blueprints, rolled drawings, and layout schematics perfectly secure and balanced, preventing sagging or crimping of the edges.
The entire piece is finished by hand in premium Osmo Polyx Satin. This specialized hardwax oil bonds deeply within the walnut pores rather than sitting on top, preserving the organic, tactile texture of the wood while providing a durable, matte barrier against daily studio wear.

Elevate your entryway with a piece that defines the room. While mass-produced furniture relies on thin veneers, we begin with massive 8/4 Black Walnut, hand-milled to a commanding 1.5" finished thickness.
The Seamless Waterfall Miter
The hallmark of this piece is the continuous grain flow. We hand-select each slab to ensure the natural wood patterns travel uninterrupted from the tabletop down the sides, creating a "visual river" of walnut. Beneath the surface, the miters are reinforced with a hidden internal Domino™ joinery system, ensuring the structure remains rock-solid for generations.
The Finish
Treated with three coats of hand-rubbed Osmo Polyx-Oil Satin, the Avenue Console offers a velvety, durable surface. It celebrates the organic warmth of the timber while resisting the rigors of daily life.
